Sarah Terrazano joins the PSG team as a Summer 2017 Intern. An undergraduate student at Brandeis University, Sarah is pursuing a degree in English with a Hispanic studies minor. A self-professed bibliophile, she loves all books, but her favorite is Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 because it is “frightening and compelling and heartfelt all at once.”

Sarah’s lifelong love of reading has led her to work for both her local library and her university’s library. In fact, Sarah has been working in a library for the past six years! This experience has not only nurtured her love of books but also allowed her to become an expert at both organization and time management. She has a talent for ordering books quickly and enjoys the peacefulness that the stacks provide.

Last summer, Sarah interned at the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum. As a perk of the internship, Sarah not only resided in Anthony’s house, she also slept in her childhood bedroom! Throughout her internship, she led tours of Anthony’s home and conducted her own research project on Anthony, which ultimately culminated in a booklet for middle school students. This internship helped her to discover her passion for both research and developing educational content.

This newly discovered love for pedagogy encouraged Sarah to pursue a summer internship at PSG. Sarah hopes that this internship will allow her to explore multiple facets of the publishing industry, and build upon the skills she has obtained not only from her library work, but also her work on her school’s newspaper.

Sarah’s optimistic attitude is evident in her favorite quote, by Oscar Wilde: “We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.” PSG is so excited to welcome Sarah to the team and to help her reach for the stars.
